PSA! Articulate: word games now war crimes.

PSA: Public Service Announcement. My pithy attempt to distinguish myself from other merchants of the mysterious, mystic experience.

PEW-PEW ∝‡≡≡››-  –  –

(Psychic Empathic Wisdom from Pictures & Energy & Words) Of course you want your tarot read by me. I’m shooting lasers. It’s ancient wisdom delivered in a futuristic (contemporary) way.

The sphinx and the harlequin. Madame Endora's fortune cards.
  • Deck: Madame Endora’s Fortune Cards
    • The Sphinx, from the realm of fable – Choose your words carefully.
    • The Harlequin, from the royal court – True feelings are masked.

My really feely KreWstar, the Krypton to my Potassium, inspired this PSA, as she wanted to know more behind my kairos ORACLE

Choose your words carefully as true feelings are masked. 🤷‍♀️🦄

The sphinx is a mythological creature that has the body of a lion and the head of a woman. Usually acting as a guardian of a portal or treasure, she speaks in riddles and likely ate whoever failed to provide the correct answer.

The harlequin is a performer who wears a mask to which allows them to act as bit of a trickster. Their mask serves two purposes:

  • the first being they can embody these exaggerated archetypes with their playfulness and sense of humour (there is safety in hiding the true self, they seek acceptance from an otherwise judgmental audience).
  • the second being that the freedom this mask grants them (their true identity hidden from public view), it disguises this deep rooted sadness within them, perpetuating their inner loneliness and fear that they’ll never be accepted for who they are. Their mask is the cause and the solution to their own inner divide.
  • Without a real face behind the facade, they can be whoever they need to be, guided by the character archetype the audience expects and projects onto them.

Got some clever creatures here, extroverts who are conflicted inside. They both utilise their voice and their form to cast this enigmatic and enchanting aura around them. They are essentially nothing (noone) without someone to engage with and thereby validate them.

They are good with words, for words are intrinsic to their character. They are good at what they do, and thereby they are fated to fulfill these for again and again to the end of time. DEHUMANISED, because they beguile they have since become demonised and vilified.

To blend these two cards and apply it to a contemporary context, accept nothing at face value. Hold on to your words, do not carelessly drop them as deception is underfoot. Know what you’re talking about before you butt in with your two pennys worth. Otherwise you just end up looking like a fool of a Took.

Communicate with each other, trust yourself, everyone has an agenda. I guess it comes to how you spin it. My agenda is to build myself a platform to hawk my tarot readings, my wisdom, my words. I’ve done shit all to really position myself in any money making manifestation pose. My motivation is to have my words and my self validated through digital material success (give me money so I can do what I want, when I want).

Who is the deceiver? Who speaks the truth? Who is playing their part in this tragic comedy we know as “life on earth”? Who knows the answer to the sphinxes question?

Speak with honesty and integrity. Whose words come from your mouth? Is it something that you truly know and/or believe? Fact, fiction, fantasy, figures… the truth of my real life is meta-fictional…

  1. I can relate to the PEW nature of PEWing others. For I thought of my PEW as Psychotic Empath’s Wisdom using Pictures, Energy, Words inducing natural goodness.

Do you have an awareness of what drew you to the deck that these cards came from? How did you know which cards needed pulled or did they jump from the deck to be laid?

I can draw relations in later comments but first I’d be curious to know more about how Fate influenced the drawing of these cards.

    1. I chose this deck because ive come to associate these cards as totems and tokens, like little trinkets that trigger magical memories upon meditation. I normally use my “shadows and light” oracle deck for my PSA posts. So i figured these fortune cards would be a better fit. Because girl, we need tools, just the right thing. Dont need more followers or party members, too many cooks in the kitchen can spoil the kmix.
I shuffled my cards and when i went to draw one, i accidentally drew two. So.. there ya go.

      1. That’s so cool that you view the cards as totems and tokens. That’s kind of how I feel about my deck. Like each card holds its own symbolic meaning that unlocks deeper meaning when it is drawn at the proper time. But it takes quiet and contemplation to understand the deeper meaning beyond the initial draw.

How many different decks do you have that feel natural to work with?

I agree we need tools but when I was drawn to Tarot I always felt the need to handmake my cards. Do you find the cards have a feel for you even though you didn’t make them?

I like the Double Dose of Information on one Draw, kind of like our posts, you get your side of the picture and then my picture from the flipside, coming together to paint a bigger picture. Three views in one post. Just like two cards coming together to create a meaningful reading.

  2. har·le·quin

    “noun
    1. a mute character in traditional pantomime, typically masked and dressed in a diamond-patterned costume.
    Similar:
    jester
    joker
    2. a small duck of fast-flowing streams around the Arctic and North Pacific, the male having mainly gray-blue plumage with bold white markings.”

Song called ‘Harlequin forest’ by Opeth:
Lyrics: ‘It is all false pretension
    Harlequin forest
    Awaiting redemption for a lifetime
    As they die alone
With no one by their side
    Are they forgiven?
    Stark determination
    Poisoning the soul
    Unfettered beast inside
    Claiming sovereign control’

Kolbrin text: “Is it like the mock orange, sweet to look at, bitter to taste?”

The mock orange is a flowering plant with pretty white flowers. But inedible, bitter. It’s mocking the one looking for sense pleasure, like the harlequin, the jester, mocking with its painted face. A frozen smile plastered. “Why so serious?”
“‎Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I’m an agent of chaos…” ― The Joker – Heath Ledger
The jester completes the dark knight. Order and chaos. Apollo and Dionysus. Both sons of Zeus.
Crack a painted smile. The crack of a machine gun rings out in the distance. Maniacal laughter.
